Dark Souls 3
The events of the game take place in Lothric, a place not far from possessions of Lords of Ashes. Since Gwyn the Ash Lord first lit the First Flame, many centuries have passed and many ignition and extinction cycles of the First Flame are in past. After he started the fire, many great heroes, known as the Lords of Ashes, repeated this path. But the First Flame dies away again, and someone must rekindle it in order to prevent the world from plunging into Darkness. Prince of Lothric, one of the heirs of the royal family, should have lit the First Flame in this cycle, but did not answer the call, deciding to wait until the First Flame extinguishes by itself. At this point, the story begins.
